On April 24, 2018, in Shanghai, SMT China announced the winners of the 12th SMT China Vision Award on the first day of NEPCON China, followed by an award ceremony at the exhibition venue.

Mr. Mak Xielin, Publishing Director of SMT China and Chairman of the SMT China Vision Award, announced the lists of Vision Award, Vision Excellence Award, Vision Innovation Award and Editor’s Choice Award. The winning products were selected from new releases in 2017 by a panel of industry experts and readers of SMT China, recognizing outstanding contributions to the SMT assembly sector. Shenzhen Synergie Machinery Co., Ltd. was honored with the 2017–2018 SMT China Vision Award for its “Automatic Solder Paste Dispensing Unit with Thickness Monitoring”.

Established in 2007, the SMT China Vision Award recognizes excellence in the SMT industry. Entries are evaluated on innovation, cost reduction impact, quality improvement, productivity gains, reliability enhancement, operational safety, environmental performance and overall industry influence.

The SMT China Vision Award is the only certified international award in China’s SMT assembly industry, supported by domestic and global suppliers. Winners are selected by technical experts, senior managers from over 200 Chinese electronics manufacturing plants, and randomly chosen readers of SMT China.

Synergie’s automatic solder paste dispenser won the 2018 Vision Award with a score of 62.41, ranking second in the Printing & Peripherals category (average score: 61.9). Excerpts from judges’ comments:
